Portoro Wing

Life lessons can appear everywhere. I was thoroughly undecided about the base to use for this sculpture. Consequently, for the longest time, it was standing on a much-too-short-for-its-size base. Fate would have it that at the wrong time and wrong place, I bumped the table where it rested. The sculpture had nowhere to go but crashing down and fracturing at the midpoint. Moments like these confront you with what you’re really made of. How would you have reacted? Cursed? Cried? I mended it and nurtured it back to life.
