Knotty One

This is the smaller offshoot of a much bigger block; some might say too small for this kind of design and.. well.. it was challenging! Even more so when it unexpectedly fractured as I was piercing its mounting hole. Then again the gold epoxy gives it a fresh look that I find appealing. I also made a point of not trying to make the joint seamless. Let it be known this sculpture has been scarred and is all the better for it.
